Crease-preventing agents are used to minimize the formation of creases and wrinkles during wet processing, especially in fabrics like silk or Lycra blends. They act as lubricants, reducing friction between fibers to fabrics/ fabric to machine and preventing damage caused by mechanical action. These agents also improve fabric smoothness and ensure uniform dyeing.
